Sir,

Enclosed herewith I have the honor to send you two thousand two hundred and ninety one dollars and fifty cents ($2291. 50/100), being a part of the subscription of this Brigade to the sufferers of your city.
The Brigade subscribes as follows:
Head-Quarters --------- $170.00
1st Va. Regt. --------- $421.00
7th “______” --------- $771.00
11th “______” --------- $401.50
24th “______” --------- $523.00
$2291.50
3d “______” --------- $505.00
Total for the Brigade $2796.50
The subscription of the 3d. Va. Regt. has already been handed to the Rev. Mr. August by the Col. of the Regiment.
