Description

Harewood Hos. May 18th /63

Dear Uncle
I have just received your letter of the 17 inst, and was very glad to hear from you. I am glad that pap got in time for the car; as I was afraid I kept him too long. Tell mother that she had better not come down, as she would be apt to miss me, as they talk of sending us all away soon as a new load comes in from the front. I cannot tell when I shall be sent away. You are very kind, but I think that I shall not need anything at present. My arm is in a better condition than it has been, for it does not pain me. Excuse my mistakes as I have to do all my writing, with my left hand.

Your Nephew
George Murray.
